Clash of the Trading Forums – Week 3, Day 5

The Clash of the Trading Forums fantasy baseball league (on Yahoo) rages on here on the freshly-manicured grass here at Andy Stadium. Not much movement happened in the various stat categories but as we know, anything can happen in the last two days of the week. Here’s the COTTF Week 3, Day 5 scoreboard:

COTTF league sponsor AtlantaSportsCards‘ starting pitching is again making a bid to win the pitching categories and his hitters are also flexing some muscle. Trader Retreat‘s Showdown has a decent lead in HRs and Saves and is only two behind in RBIs.

My team (Sports Card Forum’s Forum of Dreams)  has been able to keep pace with Sports Card Haven’s Stinkin Badges. Stinkin Badges does hold a slight 5-4 edge but oddly enough, we’re tied in Batting Average.

Hobby Kings‘ C’MON SON! is mounting a charge in the pitching categories to narrow the deficit to 6-3 against The CardBoard Village’s Dirty Sanchez. Quite a few stat categories can still go to either team.

Sports Card Forum’s Big Red Machine is still enjoying a big lead on Sports Card Haven’s SCH Sluggers. SCH Sluggers was able to tie Big Red Machine in HRs and RBIs.

Hobby Insider’s RAMMSTEIN is still maintaining a significant lead over Sports Card Haven’s team name here but can’t get comfortable yet–both teams are nearly even in seven of the ten stat categories.

Trader Retreat‘s San Antonio Sluggerz has taken a big lead over Trade Cards Now‘s Harner’s Heroes and made it even bigger. Harner’s Heroes may win the pitching categories if they have a great weekend performance-wise.
